  • [Grand Millesime's "Musigny & Richebourg 1976-1929" Dinner at Circa Restaurant, Melbourne] Translucent medium garnet, russet-mauve reflection. Mature black & red fruit bouquet with lots of sweet confectionery, fruit pastille, toffee, butterscotch, caramel, spice & vanilla notes. Medium plus, quite deep & intense black & red fruits with complex secondary nuances; very gentle ripe tannins offering only token grips; fine acidity in good harmony, becoming more obtrusive with time in glass; eventually mid palate dried up in about 2 hrs. Quite long, attenuated finish. At its best (82)

  • Lichine's search for the best grapes and the best grower has yielded a stunning Musigny with great depth & broad complex flavors that coat the palate and amaze the nose! Typical Vosne spice and a rainbow of smells dazzle as the wine evolves in the glass... otherworldly in its delivery. Lasted well into the evening with duck, truffles and peach tart. stunning...

  • Mind bending richness and complexity. Deep forest floor and notes of spices, black-red fruits intermingle with a rainbow of scents and flavors that are both very long and profound. An out of body experience! WOW!
