  Clear light straw; sulfur note right out of the screw cap but that quickly blew off; under-ripe stone fruit, what I think are gooseberries, less grass/pee than most NZ examples I've had; tart entry but an oddly smooth mouth feel for the amount of acidity at the back of the throat; relatively short finish; clean easy drinking SB
