Tasted blind at a Barolo 2001 tasting at "La Padella" (Nijmegen, The Netherlands). This was one of the surprises of the evening. When - tasted blind - guessed to be Sandrone's Cannubi Boschis you definitely know how to make a good wine. The nose was very sweet, almost Amarone, very jammy. It had much high acid, still very tannic. The first impression was not very interesting, but as it developed it showed some depth.
