Strawberries, red cherries and just a hint of spice. On the palate, a medium-light mouthfeel, crisp, with strawberry flavors and a little oak. Definitely a new world style, but a very easy quaffer. Reminds me of a heavier Cali-style pinor noir. 88 pts. Aloha!

About the same as 8/26. Lively-for-CA, lush-for-Italian red-fruited easy-drinking-yet-food-friendly juice. Blind, I think I might guess Novy Grenache. Would happily drink more, though I'd also look into Palmina's offerings, were I seeking more CA Barbera (or any CA Italian varieties).

Fairly dark red, clear around the edge. Fresh strawberry, cedar, and spice nose. Medium bodied, dried cranberries, chocolate covered cherries, pepper, good acid, enough tannins to notice, tea, and a medium finish. Didn't blow me away like last time, but still very good.

Interesting wine. Doesn't scream "Barbera" at me, but it's a tasty, well balanced bottle. Strawberry and plum were the main notes for me, with a nice tartness to it. Needed a bit of air to get it going as well.

Seems to be getting better. Nice fruit and acid. Strawberry (?) on taste. Very easy drinking without food.
