High-end mature Riesling (Restaurant Brunnenstube, Beinstein): Glass: Schott Definition Universal Amazing wine! Wonderful compete with the Jesuitengarten. So fresh, lively and full of tension and energy. Deep, mineral, smoky and long! One of the wonderful moments of this evening! 95-96

Not blind, As always fresh, balanced and not at his peak. Starting to reach his peak. Bright colour. Lime dominated, peaches, saline and cracking acidity. My favorite vintage in Germany. 94+

Found in a restaurant in La Coruna / Spain (?!). What a wonderful surprise. When the bottle was opened, the cork came apart totally. But after filtration and a few minutes in a decanter, this wine was a pleasure to drink. Great nose, only hints of petrol, and very smooth drinking. Would love to have it again, but it was the only bottle they had.

Deep yellow. Expressive nose with honey, apricots, mint, candied lemons and green apples. Opens well up with decanting. High acidity, very fine balanced fruit with more green apples, herbs and lemons. Younger and fresher on palate than nose, although very nice aromas there too. At a very nice place now, but can keep even longer. A bit short length, but very fine wine indeed.

One of the best mature GGs I have ever had. Electricity in a bottle. Doesn't get any better than this.
