WSET Level 3, July 27 A: clear, medium intensity Lemon coloured
N: Clean, medium plus intensity and youthful. Smelling of citrus, green apple/pear, Ripe fruits like bananas and melon, lanolin, mineral/stones.
P: on the palate this wine is dry with high acidity, medium minus body, medium alcohol and medium intensity. Notes of green apple and pear, citrus and some minerality. Medium finish.
Conclusion: This wine was pretty much ok. I wasn't overly fond of it but others in the class seemed to like it.

Staff Tasting: South Africa (Waterford Wines Milwaukee): nose of sweet floral tones and melon fruit. underripe pear. definite mineral component. palate shows sharp acid. more mineral driven in the mouth. RS??? 2 hours - pasta water on the nose. sweet white candy. extract gives this some umph. not showing that sharp acid that i found earlier. note to self - chenin and skin contact. discuss.

Very nice wine. Went well with chicken and roasted potatoes. Nice fragrant nose of peach and minerals. Nice balance and good acidity. Flavours of pear and peach. Well Done and good QPR. Would buy again.

Taste a touch bit of wood to it. Which can't be right because its made in stainless steel.
