Opened one hour in advance. Aroma of black fruit and baking spice. Robust black fruit flavors with a bit of garrique. Tart cinnamon notes in the finish. Mellow, firm backbone, some complexity, great staying power. Drinking beautifully, probably at its peak.

Dressner Day 1 (NYC): Loved the '05 of this bottling, and find this to be one of the best values in the line up. Medium bodied. A little more mouthfeel then on the CDR. Very good, although the '07 CDR is equally good. 88+
