I bought this a few weeks ago from the producer. The owner was there and showed me around the winery and let me taste a barrel sample of the 2007, which is due for bottling at the end of this year. Popped and poured at cellar temperature and allowed to open up in the glass for some 15 min. A nice pale golden yellow. The nose is very expressive, with nice rounded aromas of tropical fruit, but no obvious oak (it is vinified in large oak barrels). The palate is also very enjoyable, with buttery fruit and a nice biting acidity. A very enjoyable wine, no wonder a large part of the production is sent to Burgundian restaurants (as I was told)! 50+4+11+16+8=89

Very delicious, fruity, with an excellent dollop of sweet oak. Great stuff! Should drink my last bottle soon.

Very good as usual. Went very well with grilled chicken fillets. A ripe full wine with lots of delicious flavours.

Languedoc tasting (at home): Very nice, pineapple, quite a light colour, nice acidity, this was definitely the more elegant.
