Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 92 points

  • The point that pushes this wine so far above 90 points is the green nut flavor that its finish pushes for so long after the initial attack that one starts taking deep breaths to try to get the flavor of nuts off one's palate. A strong acidity and minerality in the mid-palate, almost as if one extracted water from a stone left in yellow apple orchard for the past century. The nose has a bit of a curry and musk quality. This wine is a tiny, feisty giant all-around. Note that it is SUBTLE so these are not flavors that run out of the glass and into your tasting notes unless you slow down and give yourself some time alone with the wine.
