Nice golden color, but niceness stops here! Bouquet is not very flagrant, medium body weight with hot, unbalanced alcoholic mouth feel, and bitter off putting finish. Very weak effort.

Very light golden color. Nose of green apples and pears and hints of oak. Very well balanced acidity prevents the butteriness from overpowering. A buttery and crisp green apple finish.

Tasting the Willamette Valley--2009, Day One (Willamette Valley, OR): Similar to my previous note: Light golden color. Nose of pears, some tropical fruits, slight hazelnuts. Similar palate with decent minerality and acidity. Took the edge of some of the butteriness. Overall well-balanced. Drink within a few years.
