Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 87.5 points

  • Nicely bricked in color, 80% opaque. From a 375ml and through the first hour of air, the nose evolves dramatically from iodine and steel to lovely florals and sweet spices. At the end of the bouquet I get some nuts, lavender, bacon, and potting mix. Acidity and tannins are holding up well and there's a fair amount of layered fruit left for the mouth to enjoy. I am not disappointed for spending the $26 on a half bottle here. (4+11+16+7) = 88

  • Out of a 375. The cork was wet 1/3 of the way. Very bretty and stinky nose (more of the wet gym socks not the the barnyard funky that I like). No fruit left just tart acidic mess. The worse bottle of wine I have had this year. Threw the rest down the drain.
