Very pleasant surprise. Wine needs to be de-canted at least 3 hours before it starts to please. Powerful nose of red fruit and dark chocolate. Fruitiness is confirmed on the palate, pleasant - yet not impressive -, despite high acidity at first. On day 2, this acidity vanishes into the background and leaves the fruit, wet earth and subtle oak a more balanced stage. Pronounced tannins give it structure and body. Length is beautiful on day one and two. A very good value-for-money wine, provided one gives it sufficient time to open up.

Still a bit tight, but there's structure and fruit lurking. Saving my bottles for another year.
