The 2005 John X Merriman is balanced blend of juice, tannin, and soil. Ripe blueberry, dense prune, leather, and a hint of tobacco and rich soil. A delight with grilled meats and dark chocolate
The wine looks Inky colored. It smells like Molasses, Almond, Medium Toast, Espresso, Oak, and Forest floor. It tastes like Prune, Fig, Forest floor, Mushroom, Medium Toast, Oak, Almond, and Molasses.
