  • I found this split hidden in my cellar. It is way beyond a normal expected life especially for a split. That said the wine was still quite drinkable. It is over-aged as the dark golden color indicated. The nose had a touch of sweet oak and a butterscotch aroma. The taste was almost all butterscotch but a tad out of balance - still had a bit of acidity that didn't quite go with the buttery butterscotch. Still the wine was not bad as it was…. Probably it lost 2 or 3 points by being out of age and not be a wine for significant aging

  • Great Chardonnay. Tropical fruit flavors with a spicy tone; toasty oak finish. Definitely taste apricot and a little vanilla. A very nice and zesty Chardonnay.
