Appetizer wine for the 3rd annual Christmas Party tasting event, this Central Coast Red Truck merlot shone a dark red in the glass, with vibrant jammy zin like aromas of blackberry and raspberry. Very sweet fruit forward profile, with almost chaptalized characteristics. Jam spread over the tongue, highlighting black and red raspberry, with a round smooth finish. Fading quickly upon open, this however is a crowd pleaser for a group setting where everyone gets a splash. Incidentally, we have been to Cline and the red truck is parked right there in the parking lot! They do a good job with their cellar door.
