  It took awhile to open up, maybe a couple of hours. Definitely old-world Pinot, strawberry nose and palette, herbs on the nose, acidic transition from mid-palette to finish that I liken to rhubarb, possibly grapefruit. Finish lasts for 10 seconds or so and is more of the strawberry-rhubarb flavor profile.
  
  A great value, providing a small window into some of the better Burgundies at a fraction of the price.
