NobleRottersSydney - Christmas Lunch 2017 (Geoffrey's place): {375ml, screwcap, 14%} [Geoffrey] Rather watery, aging wine sweetie. No evident botrytis. Lemon-crod, vanilla-bean and some butter-menthol. Not much sweeter than off-dry, rather like a muscat de-baume-de-venise but without the weight and alcohol. Light-bodied, with a short, semi-fresh finish. Simple wine, not for keeping.

This is OK, but nothing special. Tons of lychee, sweet peach and a bit of caramel on the nose and palate. Has a round, well weighted presence in the mouth. Lacking an acidic spine though which limits the length of the wine and makes the alcohol poke out a little - it's marked 14% on the bottle.

Torbreck's sweet Bothie is very enjoyable. Orange blossom, citrus, and honey tones. The sweet and spicy flavors of this make for a great alternative to Sauternes.

Sucré, pas d'acidité, c'est très simple et ça manque de tension. Pas terrible.
