  • Rose at this price point does not get any better. Walter knows rose and we are hooked. With brined grilled cornish hens and local arugula it was stellar. The nose gives the terroir clear definition and the palate is full of mineral laden fruit that finishes long and clean. The '08 seems more defined, or less fat than the '07.

  • Taken to Dry Creek Cafe (byob) on 5/20 to drink with dinner. Kept cool in igloo until served as second bottle of rose after consuming a bottle of 2008 Beckmen Rose. The Mourchon was slightly lighter in color, but still a beautiful pink. Aromas of red fruits and some floral. Wonderful light fruity taste, definitely drier than the Beckmen. Was excellent with our salads and burgers.
