Popped and poured, needs about 20 min to open up. Full bodied, sweet finish, D'Quem like. In prime and will continue to hold for another 2-3 years minimum.

Not very good. Flint, ash and burnt caramel on the nose. Very prickly. Overt oak with an entirely too soft fruit core and no structure. Got worse with time.

Very rich and full-bodied, but whiffs of oak were more present (or I detect it more now). Citrus and nectarine, vanilla on the finish, slight smokiness, clean finish. Very enjoyable. Well-paired with Trout w/ truffle butter, pot-roasted sweet potato and asparagus.

Drank with Scott Haft. We were both pleasantly surprised by how good this held up. Golden, fruity and buttery.
