Drank together with '05 SLV. Compared to SLV, Fay is the more more tannic and expresses earthy notes compared to its more refined sibling. Ironically, while SLV is good to drink now, I would keep the Fay for few more years.

Dark red throughout no signs of aging; black fruit nose; earthy, chalky. Deep rich character, classic 2005. Mid+finish
