Smells very much like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with a bit of age. Dark and very structured. Not jammy but has substantial body and it's full of dark fruits. Not necessarily serious or overly complex, but it does hint at mint secondaries on the finish. Drink now.

Drank over two days. Some vanilla and red fruit in the nose. An elegant wine with juicy acidity, red fruit, and some lingering rosemary and gentle tannins on the finish. Not the most complex but very enjoyable, probably could still hold for a few more years.

Nose is great, but on tasting I found it simple & one dimensional. For the price point it's fine. [edit] I am recovering from a cold so my palate could be a bit deadened..... [/edit]

Bought this wine a few years back and forgot to add it on CT. Needless to say I forgot all about it until I found it in the wine cooler recently. I emailed the winery and they suggested that it be drank within the next 6 months. Well its Monday night and it it being anniversary night made sense. Poured through a venturi into a decanter. The cork was almost black. A good amount of sediment was left in the bottle. On the nose the wine gives off a little heat and spiciness. On the palate the wine is smooth and silky with a long dry finish. The fruit is dark and with some chocolate. The wine is big and bold. I think this can go further than six more months, but it is so wonderful now!
