  In a really good place right now. Needs some time after opening to fill out on the mid-palate, but this has come around nicely. New-world chocolaty goodness on the nose. Sumptuous but structured and complete.
  
  Actually I think this can go on a little longer. Sadly I have no more to test that theory with.

  Here's a nice surprise...this came outta nowhere and wow'd us tonight. Perhaps just needed some time, but tonight this baby was singin'. Obvious class on the nose, with spice and dark fruits. Palate was rich and deep, with cloves, euch, blackberry cassis, and a host of other fun. Lovely balanced finish. Don't ya just love a surprise bottle!

  Consistently a wonderful merlot. Had it prior to going out to eat. I didn't have any, but the others liked it.
