Popped & poured- no decant. Nose of blueberries & cinnamon. Bright fruit and a gripping mid pallate. Tannins are resolved but the acids aren't there to maintain proper balance. It offers a pleasant but hot (alcoholic) finish. Nice wine to drink now, but not one to lay down.

This has held up really well. We helped make this blend back in the day. Leonard Gelfand joked that the shelf life of 4-6 months, this has proven to be untrue. This wine gets better every time we open it. I think it is at its peak now, but I have been fooled before. Check with your local professional. : )
Fruity, but not as overpowering fruity as before. Still has balance, can the tannins mellow slower than the fruit? This is good stuff, epically now. Open, drink, enjoy!

This wine has mellowed horrendously. The fruit has faded, but not as much as the tannins so it has worked out to be quite rich and complex. Wow, not what I was expecting!
