  Very vegetal and quite chemical nose of solvents, with underbrush and prunes shining through. The palate is drying, acidic, very vegetal (tobacco, cardboard), slightly oxidized and completely unbalanced. There is not much fruit left, just some rustic, earthy, leafy and acidic juice. Taste gets worse when open longer. I declared my last bottle as flawed, but this one is not much better. I expected much more from such a highly rated wine. It seems this was better when young. - 74 points
