Opened this at happy hour on NYE as an aperitif, and paired with a charcuterie board. From a grower-producer in the Côtes des Bar, in Aube, the southeastern part of the Champagne appellation. It's an area that's off-the-beaten-path somewhat in Champagne, and is known for good QPR Champers. This is no exception. 50% PN and 50% Chard, the first sip was a tiny bit sweeter than I prefer, with dosage of 10g/l, but wasn't noticeable once we got into the charcuterie board. Delicious, red fruits and a hint of citrus on the palate, this is more of a fresh style.

Nose of sweet and sour fruit, with floral notes, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, touch simple, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, subtle, and a medium/long finish.

Just about drinkable, but not my favorite overall. I guess Bligny isn't the house for me...

Crisp, strawberry, floral on the nose. Easy drinking. Medium finish. QPR is a little off. Should be 25% cheaper.

Fresh, from the Aube. Its actual Champagne. Crisp and mineral.
