This showing was good , somewhere between the last two. Slightly tired and unbalanced, but still good with food pairings. Clearly, this wine is walking a very fine line!

Still showing dark tones …. granite and purple hues. I get hints of brioche/yeastiness, sweet dark berry fruit, plums and figs, incense. Nice deep complexity on the aromas. Flavours follow, thicker and sweet dark berry fruit. Creamy mouthfeel, drying but subtle vague tannins. Almost jammy but enough acidity/austerity to pull it back from the edge. 15% alcohol is nicely hidden. Good balance. Long flavourful finish. Well done.

Well, I was wrong! This wine has improved dramatically since last tasting. The balance in this wine was outstanding with the alcohol taking a backseat to the intense and broad aromatics of this wine. Everything you could want in a Priorat; couldn't possibly get better. Could it?

I've cellared this wine properly since purchasing it nearly 8 years ago just after moving to the USA from Germany. Although the drinking window is up to 2017 in CT, based on 7 user's opinions, this wine is still 'singing' with freshness and balance. Something to be said for a wine refrigerator and 'TLC'. Full-bodied, dark fruit, quite captivating. Better than the first bottle of the 2 that I bought. Paired nicely with a grilled steak. I only have 2-4 Priorat wines, this being one of them, but now the appelation is on my 'bucket list' to visit if possible.
