Really nice syrah. JC cellars seems to be under-rated. A crowd pleaser as well as very good choice for syrah lovers. Just subtle enough, perfectly aged at 10 years, very enjoyable.

Concentrated and jammy with notes of Asian spice. Tasted more like a Zin than a Syrah. Still some heat. Would be good to cellar for a couple of additional years.

Grippy. I thought no it still has tannins on the finish and will improve with more age. Very good Syrah with balance and not overripe.

Soft tannins, light plum, black berries, little white pepper.

Very soft wine now. Nice French oak still there but not much tannins anymore. Will have with pasta and update notes.
