Perhaps the first Cab Franc Rosé that I have had. Nice light salmon orange color with some raspberry notes on the nose. I found the flavors to be quite tart and there is quite a kick of acidity at first followed by a very dry finish. Interesting wine, but my preference still leans toward the Grenache based Rosé from the south of France.

Maybe a new favorite rose for the summer. The perfect example of a cool climate wine because of the delicateness and bracing acidity. Attractive light pink in color. Medium intensity nose with smells that include strawberry, orange and lemon. Also a buttery note which reminded me of chardonnay and made me think of lees contact. Wine is dry, light body and very sour...sour almost like sucking on a lemon wedge. And I mean this in a good way. Finish is long, fruity, refreshing and makes you pucker a bit. Of course this rose like many others would be good on a hot day....picnic lunch...and all the other cliches you hear about drinking rose wine. What makes this rose special is the acidity balanced with delicate fruit flavors.

Thin with harsh, unbalanced acidity. To be fair, it did improve a little bit after being opened for a long time, but I still wasn't all that impressed.

White blossom, peach, strawberry & herb aromas. On the palate, notes of strawberry and lime with excellent minerality.

Light salmon color. Nose of wild strawberries and lemon. High acid on the palate, light bodied with some persistence.
