Drank over three hours without decant. Paired with Porterhouse steak w/ mushroom sauce. Tannins on this wine overwhelm fruit. Little balance. Only other flavor I could pull out was a bit of oak. I'm not sure if this needs more time or is dead but it was the most disappointing of the many Sattui cabs I have drank. Paired fine with the food and opened up a tad bit over time, but not as much as I would have expected.
