Lovely. Medium bodied. Plum red with bricking. Light oak. Mellowing out but still very nice flavors of cinnamon, raspberry, plum, sour cherry. Rustic, overall, a very good 'super tuscan' like wine from WA.

Regrettably, we waited too long to drink this wonderful Super Tuscan inspired blend. Much of the nose & fruit has faded. Still, after 30 minutes after opening its former full-bodied structure was still evident.

This had some nice delicious factor, although the oak was a tad heavy at times, out-competing some of the cherry-raspberry fruit flavors which stayed sweet through the medium-long finish, framed by gentle acids which could have benefitted from a touch more verve. That being said, some baker's spices certainly added interest and pleasure.

Walla Walla Visit, End of Summer 2009; 8/29/2009-8/30/2009 (Walla Walla, Washington): This has a heavy, rustic nose full of stewed tomato, tree bark, and cherry scents. The wine starts out with light flavors reminding me of baked goods, and some interesting blackberry notes come in quite late along with tannins that fill out through the finish.
