Colour still good, some bricking. Nose has sun baked black compote, there’s rotting tree matter, fungus and damp earth. The palate has baked black fruit with quite a lot of punch on the mid palate coming from the alcohol and a spicy, ground black pepper character coming through. Certainly past it’s best but drinkable, just.
