Light ruby, translucent. Not much nose, but on the palate classic Bourgogne. More briar than berry, light, gently drying. Not a great wine, but a great example of a basic Bourgogne. Needs food. 13%, cork.

(Morey Pierre Bourgogne Pinot Noir) Medium colour. High-toned, slightly mineral nose under-pinned with very nice fruit. Ripe, tasty and clean with good concentration and plenty of energy and dimension. Excellent regional.

Drying tannins, lots of underbrush, very rustic in all. nice floral aromas on the nose, but this is not a particularly charming wine.
