Superb Grenache that was juicy with nice balance at the winery several years ago, but has greatly benefited from holding in our cellar. Robust and fruit forward but with distinctive characters in the wine: cloves, white pepper added a spiciness without a tannic quality. Enjoyed this with an ahi salad that was Provençal in taste.

Three from Jaffurs (My home): Delicious. I find California grenache to be hit or miss, but this was on target. Ruby in color. The nose has a candied raspberry/framboise quality to it. Not hot, but some alcohol. Also a layer of earthiness. Velvety texture. On the palate, raspberries with some earth. Even better, my wife really liked it a lot.

Definitely gets better with air. Very tight with heat when I originally tasted right after opening, but with a few hours to breathe the heat disipates and it becomes very silky and smooth on the palate with plenty of ripe, dark fruit, with hints of asian spice and cigar box. Nicley made and I would recommend.

Very new world with lovely red fruits. A crowd pleaser for a red. If you are looking for earthy components, this is not your style.
