Opened for about 45 min in bottle. Purple nearly opaque in color. Aromas of blueberries, sweet plums, hint of strawberries, earth, vanilla, maybe tar but with some alcoholic heat. Palate shows tart berries, spices, hint of earth, minerals.Moderate finish with more tart cherries, maybe cranberries, a hint of earth and spice, and mild to moderate tannins. No heat at the end which is surprising given the armas. Expected more from the palate given the aromas. Perhaps with time. Good but not great. For $18, good QPR but not great.

This was delicious. Had good acidity and tannin, but nicely fruit-forward. Well-balanced wine.

Oak and a hint of toffee in the nose. Black fruit and spice are revealed gradually. A nice, food-friendly Tempranillo.
