Too bad this was the last one! The aromatics have just gotten better and better with a powerful kerosene element (which I happen to enjoy!) mixed with tropical fruit and a slice of citrus acidity. Pure joy on its own - almost a shame to drink it with anything... It may have been a fluke year at the winery as I have also tried the 2009 which was disappointing.

Nose very typical for Alsace Riesling, developed with hints of petroleum and minerals. Palate with good development and hints of petroleum, minerals and citrus. Very good!

This is really improving with the kerosene notes very present now both on the nose and on the palate. Vibrant acidity derived from pink grapefruit and under ripe pineapple but counterbalanced by underlying richness of ripe peaches. 90-91
These wines are worth leaving in the cellar to develop complexity. However, don't buy their 2009 if you want tension in the wine since it is quite flabby in comparison.

Still performing solidly with a mineral, gun flinty nose showing the beginning of kerosene aromas. Nice zing of acidity on the palate with a hint of CO2 to give it peps, otherwise kiwis, citrus fruits and a bitter lemon finish makes this quite thirst-quenching in style.

Golden yellow. Already showing petrol, grapefruit and pineapple on the nose. Very fresh and mineral on the palate with piercing grapefruit and passion fruit and yet also quite fat, expansive and soft with vanilla-like flavours even though it has not seen any oak.
