What is NOT to like about this Rose, particuarly at this price point? It expresses as you would expect a moderately priced Rose Champagne. I actually think it is a bargain for a Brut Rose. Aromas of fesh strawberries and raspberries along with a pleasing palate of berries and a bit of toastiness. This wine is a NV and drinking beautifully now. Should be on point for at least a couple more years.

Indeed there is dolor when the last Rose Dolores is consumed. Popped this one Christmas Eve for a little slumming Popeye's fried chicken plus (slightly more upmarket) sous vide Kenji-recipe ham. It's a pretty color for sure, slightly ever-so off-dry with a hint of strawberry, muted yeastiness. Decent yet not remarkable.

Absolutely fine for what it is. At the price I paid, would buy cases of it. Color is almost saignee. Refreshing little bubbly with no faults.

👃 not a lot, sometimes just alcohol. 👅 Strawberry, raspberry, a slight mineral streak, unripe peach. Enjoyable but unremarkable. Would not buy again.

Delicious flavor and texture. More body and fewer bubbles than many Champagnes.
