3oz Coravin pull, sat open for 75 mins, then tasted.
Nose is dominated by dark fruit and oak. Color is medium ruby. Smooth for a cab with fine tannins that have seemed to resolved Jen selves as much as possible. A little short on the finish. Dried plum, vanilla and heat dominate the flavor profile. Good enough, better with food.
Agree with others that while this has the nose of Stags Leap, the flavor profile is less distinctive.

Delicious soft cab still with plenty of dark Canernet fruit, decent nose, decent finish, terrific with a ribeye. Doubt it will improve further but should last a couple years yet.

A very adequate cab. every aspect of this cab sang out "Stags Leap District." It was a perfect match for my baked ziti and beef rollups stuffed with Italian ham and italian flavored bread crumbs with minced garlic, parsley, and olive oil and simmered in a plum tomato, beef stock and chopped onion sauce for 4 hours. This wine handled this dinner admirably.

(Cameron Hughes Stag's Leap Lot 100 Cabernet Sauvignon) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very nice nose; a little creaminess (heavy cream); mixed w/ fruit; a nice bark and wood essence (the oak is nicely integrated); a little cranberry on the back-end; PALATE-I like this Cabernet; a very elegant effort; I like the polish; I like the smoothness; I like the freshness of the fruit (I feel like I'm tasting the vineyard); I like the subtleties -- getting a nice sawdust flavor on the mid-palate; I like the dryness; a nice inky component; very, very well-made; nice integration and balance; this will appeal to a lot of Cabernet fans; GV-90+
