This yummy GSM blend (SGM in proportion order) has not only held up well in the bottle, it has matured into a wine that maintains its wily rambunctiousness while wearing a tailored outfit. It's the real deal.

A few years to flesh out the baby fat. This one has the legs for the long haul. Chaotic structure - or a kick inthe ribs. Either way, this one rocks right now. Gritty without the sand, you know

Very nice nose with excellent fruit on both nose and palate. Well balanced with spice, herbs and good acidity so it went very well with food. Somewhat like a Southern Rhone that is a predominately Syrah blend. Well balanced.

A big, bold wine, but a little hot. It's that heat that's preventing me from giving it a higher score. Otherwise, it's a dark wine with bold flavors. The Syrah, which holds the greatest percentage, clearly dominates, but the Grenache and Mourvedre add complexity. Really nice effort.
