Nice wine for an 11 year old domestic chard. Big fruit with a good backbone of acidity. Not too sweet or oaky. Oak is definitely there but not in a bad way. Good mouthfeel. Almost oily. I would buy again.

Drank over the course of three days. So clean, crisp and pure that I found it hard to believe there was any oak on this until I was told otherwise. Intoxicating essence that could not be replicated on any other chardonnay. So well balanced. I'm a fan.

This was served blind to me; from the nose and flavor I guessed Chard, and an older one from the darker color. But this is not buttery or over-oaked in any way; great acidity and fruit to match. It was very good with cannelloni bean soup with bacon and a orzo and spinach salad. I'd buy this again, even at full tasting room price ($32).

At Melville tasting room. Lots of nice acidity, no oak that can be perceived. Reminiscent of a nice Chabils. Outstanding.
