  • Inky dark color and very unusual but intriguing nose... black fruit, raisin, lavendar soap, smoke and dirty diaper. Big tannic black fruit entry that showed some bright acidity at first. I found the midpalate to be a little hollow, but still a great QPR for the adventurous. Give it another 2 years. 13% ABV.

  • Burnt black pepper, red meat, and barley on the nose. Blackberries and toasted plum pits on the mid palate. BBQed grasshopper heads and gritty blueberries on the finish. I've been tasting this for two years, and it is FINALLY ready to drink even though as Ralph Wiggum said it truly does "taste like burning."

  • A blend of 90% Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo)/10% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has much more depth and weight than previous vintages when it was blended with Merlot instead. The nose encompasses tar, leather and cassis. The mouthfeel is heavy with moderate tannins, and the finish is persistant. Excellent with braised meats and Roncal cheese. Another great find from importer Chris Campbell of C&P Wines.
