Popped and poured at fridge temp, but note written after dinner when the bottle had been open about 1.5 hours and had warmed up. Quite deep golden yellow. A very tasty wine with buttery notes of apricots and peaches on the nose and nice buttery tastes of lychees and peaches, but with a nice acidity holding it up. A very good wine, quite heavily oaked, but in the context of Roussane and Marsanne, excellent. 50+5+11+16+8=90

Visit to La Clape (Narbonne, Languedoc); 7/7/2009-7/9/2009: Tasted at the winery. 70% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne, aged in oak for 12 months. A very fullsome wine, with lots of oaky buttery aromas and tastes. Very nice and rich.
