Popped and poured. Garnet color with slight fading to the edge. Plum and spice aromas. Very red fruit juicy feel through the mid-palate and that a slight tingling spice with oak and granular tannins.

Big CA Cab. A bit overly oaky, tannic and harsh initially. Was better second day. Oak blew off, became more intigrated, but nothing special. But at $16, really not bad to get a big CA cab. Used to have to pay quite a bit more for this weight of a wine. Just a bit one dimentional.

Sonoma Reds and Whites (Farpointe Cellar): The nose was peppery and had black currant, blackberry, and spice. The palate was rich, and had pepper, blackberry, spice, and a black currant finish.

Really nice well ballanced wine. Can't go wrong serving this cab with friends and a good steak. All at the table enjoyed it.

Very good cabernet - nice rough tannins. Lots of dark fruit.
