Really thining out like someone doing the comb over and trying to look sophisticated ... nah that's not it ... this is too punk ... fading ... time to grow up ... nothing here ... like watching a beta max movie you thought was amazing when you were a wide eyed 13 year old

Kept open and tasted over 6 days. Dark purple color. Interesting 60-40 blend of Grenache and Mourvedre with a surprisingly low 14% alcohol for an Australian Rhone blend, that also has neither heaviness, detached sweetness, nor alcoholic burn. Features an excellent balance of refreshing acidity and drying tannin. At 11 years old, nicely rounded and integrated, still has ample black raspberry and blackberry fruit, and shows no sign of oxidation or thinness.

Very nice QPR. Spicy and I agree with the previous cranberry comments. Lack of oak makes this one a little different. Not your typical Grenache. If scoring 87-89.

An artistic halloween label but not much of a wine. Rather thin body. At times offering a thin jam fruit but no remarkably positive features.
