Green tinted, this looks a lot less mature than feared. Tons of gooseberry, fresh acidity and implied richness. This is lean and crisp still on the palate. Definitely front loaded, this finishes a little short. Nevertheless, this has held up surprisingly well!

Winery visits Jan 2008 (Tasmania): {Diam, A$35} Lots of gooseberry here is a stylish, cool-tasting offering. Fresh acid but the short finish rather lets it down a little. A lot of money asked for what it is. The last sauvignon in the country not under screwcap?
