Rose gold color, at first wet stones and mineral aromas mostly, later on developed sweet orange and honeyed lemons. In the mouth good mineral intensity, very delicious overall and dry on the palate. Really loved it, if I could only wait all my wines to reach that stage of maturation.

Medium yellow, muted nose, slight hint of petrol, apple quince and a little dried pineapple in the mouth. Definitely lost its freshness and well past its best.

Greeny gold, nose has some petrol but largely baked red apple, honey. The palate is wonderful, lots of ripe apple, honey, sultanas and raisins which envelops the mouth but bright acidity too. Good weight and lovely balance, worked brilliantly with a spicy, raisin chicken dish- origins of Sicily. This is my last bottle and it’s certianly the best. A lesson for me in leaving quality Grand Cru Riesling to mature to get the most from them.

There was a hint of oxidation here which affected this bottle. It seemed a little soft and limpid overall, but no rating due to the oxidation.
