has a nice nose of red fruits and mushroom earthiness. In the mouth there is good acidity and decent fruit, however the finish is a little harsh. A good drinking food wine.

Decent entry level Rioja. Blessedly low on the sickly cheap oak, blessedly high on the surprisingly pure fruit. A little muddy, but what do you expect for £6.

Still very smooth. Opened up fairly quickly and was a wonderful compliment to ravioli and red sauce.

Creamy, full body. Fruity and approachable, with some toasty oak showing, but it maintains some freshness and vitality. Enjoyable daily drinker.

Nice but lighter Tempranillo. Popped and poured. 1/2 bottle left faded by the next day.
