  Tasted at Ravintola Viinille in Turku, Finland. The bottle was cracked and poured for me. A deep ruby red in the glass. The nose was initially rather funky, but this blew off after some time in the glass. Smooth red berries, like rasberry, a bit of sweet candy and a hint of leather/tar. Pleasant but nothing special. On the palate quite tannic, smooth red fruit, a bit generic, nothing really to make this notable. Like the previous taster notes, a quaffer.

  Plum nose, same on the palate. Merlot overpowering the Cab, a complete lack of tannin, verging on flabby, with a medium finish.....a quaffer for the BBQ.
