I have long been a fan of the Michael-David Incognito wines -- haven't been disappointed yet. White peach and orange blossom on the nose. Honey and pear flavors with a beautiful, lingering finish. Salud!

Thursday, January 27, 2005 The color might lull you into thinking this is a thin, meaningless wine, what with its light silver-gold. That would be wrong thinking. An initial attack of apricots, pears and Chinese spice on the finish. Somewhat lush and refreshing. Nice structure of acidity, but hollow midpalate. Nevertheless it presents a decent mouthfeel. This is a wine that needs food. Perhaps something a little spicy, but not anything Seschuan. Appears to have a little bit of RS that becomes a tad annoying by the end of the bottle. A whopping 15% alc. With chicken and broccoli in pasta (CI recipe); a nice pairing.
