  Nice purple color. Strong floral notes with a hint of leather and earth on the nose. No body, almost watery with a very muted taste. Slightly spicy on the finish. Very basic.

  At the Blue Strawberry - School Friend's Xmas Meal. £21 on the list. No formal note. Ripe dark fruits, plum and black cherry with a hint of leather complexity. Good quality, fine tannins and lovely vibrant acidity combine well with the rich fruit. Medium bodied, fresh and appetising with a good length finish. This is very good indeed.
