NobleRottersSydney - Tamar Trip Sep04 (1): West Tamar (Tamar Valley wineries, MUD bistro): ($20, screwcap) A greenish/pale straw colour, this has a faintly sulphurous but mostly attractive nose of green apple and honeydew. Fresh lemon/lime acid follows on the palate, and, despite the sweetish aromas, the finish is assertively dry. Apart from the heavier texture, could almost pass for a Mosel Kabinett wine. Good wine.
